I've been passionate about photography since my early teens, when I was the photographer for the school newspaper and my camera has rarely left my side. I studied marine biology and worked for local and central government and environmental groups on conservation in New Zealand and Antarctica. In 2018, my passion also became my career. As an affiliated member of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography I am bound by the NZIPP Code of Ethics, and work at all times to the highest standards. I am a member of Heartfelt, a volunteer organisation of professional photographers dedicated to giving the gift of photographic memories to families who have experienced stillbirth or have children with serious or life threatening illness (https://heartfelt.org.au/).
What makes my photography different?
- Wide skill base: artistic and technical competence in a wide range of photography
- Natural style: light, airy and not over-processed
- Discrete: ability to capture moments unobtrusively
- Spontaneous: quick turnaround of images.
